Bumpkins
Bumpkins has been part of the landscape on Pigeon Beach for over 13 years. Developed by a group of local friends, this lovable oceanfront spot is a refreshing hideaway. The large wooden verandah extends out over the spotless beach, providing a sheltered observation deck with view across the harbour.
As one would expect from a traditional Caribbean beach bar, the beers are ice cold and the rum strong. Bumpkins blend their rum based cocktails with fresh local fruit – Banana Pina Colada is a must. Uncomplicated Caribbean specials such as garlic shrimp and grilled lobster are delicious, but the BBQ ribs served with real potato wedges and salad is simply finger licking good.
For light snacks, chicken, burgers or wedges are some of the best on island. Bumpkins pride themselves on selling generous portions of good quality food.
Bumpkins is traditionally a daytime venue, except for frequent events and dining full moon when the party takes to the beach and lasts until sunrise.
