Great Bird Island

At Bird Island, you may catch a glimpse of the beautiful hawksbill turtle, the frigate bird(Fregata magnificens) ,the red bill tropical bird(Phaeton astherus) or brown pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis). It is also the only place you can see an Antiguan racer in the wild.

Due to the large concentration of mangroves, which promote rich marine life, Great Bird Island is one of the best places to snorkel in Antigua.
At the top of Bird Island, you’ll have a bird’s-eye-view of the Park and mainland Antigua, as well as the experience and thrill of looking straight down a naturally formed blowhole.
