The perfect Destination Wedding Dress Pick and Comfort
- Make sure that your dress is cool and comfortable so that you are not over weighed and extremely hot.
- You will need light weight material as you will need to travel comfortable on a plane with the dress.
- Look at wearing sandals versus barefoot if your ceremony location is beach front avoid stilettos or pumps as they are not practical.
- You may want to purchase a wrap or shall for when the evening breeze comes.
- Avoid using veils as the beach breeze will give you never ending problems.
- Make sure that you stick to your style while avoiding an over the top traditional wedding dress that may be too heavy for the beach.
- Sleeveless is very important as it will keep you cool and show off your tan.
- If you want to do a trash the dress photo shoot ensure that the dress is light and flowy.
Destination Wedding Flowers Picks
- Have an idea of your color palette before arriving to your destination. Visit your local hardware store’s paint section and collect colour cards.
- Tear pictures out of Bridal magazines so that you can show your wedding planner what you would like for your bouquet.
- Be open to suggestions from your wedding planner as you may fall in love with another idea that you had not thought of.
- Do some research-find out what flowers will survive the tropical heat.
- Make sure that your bouquets match your boutonnieres and centre pieces so that the color palette and style flows throughout your day.
- Choose what shape you are looking for; posy, flower spray or teardrop.
- Tropical colors work best versus pastels as you are having a destination wedding.
