Joseph Jones Photography
Hi I’m Joseph Jones, husband, father, photographer.
I’m a fortunate guy who has the privilege of merging my life’s passions seamlessly and effortlessly. I guess this should be natural as one passion actually began the other, my first camera was used to record the growth of my new family.
Since then family and cameras have been inseparable to this day and we have indeed all grown together in, around and through this medium which has become a profession directly and indirectly for three of us.
My work strives to capture the spirit of our island life and as such is as diverse and colorful as life in Antigua and Barbuda. I hope you enjoy the select pieces presented to celebrate the National Visual Arts exhibition ‘09.
My clientele is also as diverse as my repertoire and I have been published on the covers of European magazines to the pages of Caribbean school texts, from calendars to books, annual reports to billboards and the photo wall murals that decorate the arrival and departure lounges at the V. C. Bird International Airport.
In 2005 I hosted an exhibition of Antiguan landscape images to celebrate the island’s 25th Anniversary of Independence. Prints from this body of work grace walls as far away as China and South America. Currently I have a limited edition book on classic yachts available for sale.
More recently, I have teamed with my wife Janet to open Studio JoJan located on Long Street & Corn Alley. The studio has been described as Antigua’s latest photographic sensation and boasts a cutting edge studio offering services from ID photos to contemporary and classic portraiture as well as Antigua’s first dedicated photographic gallery.
I am available for assignment in Antigua and the Caribbean and you can view more of my compelling images at www.josephjonesphotography.com
