Civil Organization Promoting Peace in Youth (COPPY) was bourn from the idea of helping the Youths of Antigua and Barbuda. We are working alongside Women Institute for Alternative Development (WINAD), who have since created a regional organization CDRAV with COPPY and other organizations in Caribbean and the Americas as members. CDRAV also works with: IANSA, Oxfam, and Other International Organization on Crime and Violence.
COPPY’s Mission:
Coppy is working towards a Peace Building effort and Conflict Resolution in promoting tolerance and respect for human rights.
We believe in empowering our youths through Education, skills training and the idea of Entrepreneurial-ship. Some of our Training includes Effective Interpersonal relationship.
Skills: are Mural Arts, Music, Dinghy sailing.
Workshops on: Self-awareness, Agricultural diversity and Life skills. COPPY’s vision for the Youths of Antigua and Barbuda is to give them the opportunity to become assets to the society.
