The 2010 Hurricane Season in the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean began on June 1, 2010, and will end on November 30, 2010. Antiguans & Barbudans have not had a direct hurricane since 1997 spared any direct hurricane . Hurricanes affect the Caribbean islands every year and the experts are predicting a busier-than-usual hurricane season for 2010. There is a special concern for Haiti who in the beginning of this year was devastated by a major earthquake.
