The 44th Annual Antigua Sailing Week 2011 will be held from 24th -29th April 2011.

In 1967, Antigua Sailing Week was born and it has been going strong ever since. The Regatta, held at the end of April each year, is described as the ‘Grandaddy of them all’ and rightly so. It has a rich heritage and tradition but is one of the foremost venues on the global sailing calendar. Yachts and sailors from all over the world come to Antigua for the fantastic racing conditions and to enjoy all that Antigua has to offer.

The coasts of Antigua are ideal for yacht cruising and racing, with constant trade-winds, and many harbours for exploration. Easily a week could be spent cruising around this picturesque island of the Caribbean. The sister island of Barbuda has shell laden beaches so long that they dip below the horizon.

Antigua Sailing Week has developed into one of the biggest events in the World Sailing calendar, and continue to be a huge success.

The races are from Dickenson Bay, Falmouth Harbour and down the West Coast, and each evening there are parties wherever the yachts finish racing for the day. Antigua Sailing Week has a real carnival atmosphere with locals, yachtsmen and holiday makers dancing,  eating and drinking the nights away.
