Cricket Fest Antigua Cricket FestCricket is a passion on our island and there is no better way to experience authentic Antigua than watching a match or playing the locals.  With sunshine all year round, 365 beautiful white sand beaches to choose from and an insatiable passion for sports of all kinds, Antigua is the ultimate Caribbean sports tourism destination.

Antigua is set to host the first round of the Caribbean Twenty20 cricket tournament scheduled for 10th to 15th January 2011. The matches will be played at the legendary Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. There will be two twenty over matches per day; one commencing at 4pm and other at 8pm. The matches are promising to be full of exciting cricket.

The West Indies Cricket Board has billed the event “Where stars are born” and with the line up for teams, we expect nothing less. Participating teams include Guyana, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Combined College Campuses, Somerset and Hampshire.
