Antigua and Barbuda’s official currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar (XCD) which is fixed to the US dollar. Recent exchange rate was US$1.00 = EC$2.65.
Exchange rates may vary slightly at stores and hotels. You can find daily exchange rate information at one of our local banks. Major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere on the island.
ATM machines can be found all over the island at major population centers and at the airport.
