Trivia for Charity is a monthly fundraiser hosted by The Summer Project, a new charity dedicated to assisting persons in Antigua and Barbuda who are suffering from sickle cell disease, a genetic, life-threatening blood disorder that affects 1 in 10 persons in Antigua and Barbuda.
How Trivia Works
The concept behind Trivia is very simple. You play in teams of 1 – 5 persons per team. Your host will ask you a series of questions, which are divided into 4 categories, and each team must write down the correct answers in the relevant areas on their answer sheets. 1 point is scored for every correct answer. At the end of the 4 rounds, the Team with the highest score wins! Prizes can include catamaran cruises, gift baskets, jewelry, gift vouchers and more!
There is a $20 fee per person to enter the competition. All proceeds are donated directly to The Summer Project and will go towards medical treatment for Summer Brumant, a 13-year old HbSS sickler, who was diagnosed with severe cerebral atrophy. Treatment will be done in Jamaica.
