Go fly a Kite!

For their fifth year in a row Tropikiters will be hosting their kite flying festival.The Antigua and Barbuda International Kite Festival is an Event not to be missed.This annual kiting festival is a great opportunity for kite flyers to indulge in their favourite pastime. There is certainly plenty of kiting activities on the agenda, but there’s also enough down time to allow participants to enjoy island life.

The event schedule is as follows:

Wednesday 31st March — Beach Fly @ Buccaneer Cove 9am to 3pm.

Thursday 1st April — Indoor Fly @ Multi Purpose Cultural Centre 7pm to 9pm.

Friday 2nd April — Lawn BBQ 6pm to 9pm.

Saturday 3rd April — Fun Fly/Competition @ Freeman’s Village Playgrounds 9am to 5pm.

Monday 5th April — Devils Bridge Fun Fly – 9am to 5pm.

Tuesday 6th April — Sunset Snorkel Cruise 1pm-7pm

Let’s give the upcoming generation a good dose of wholesome family fun and join the Tropikiters Club on Easter Saturday at the Freeman’s Village and on Easter Monday at Devil’s Bridge. The activities close off at 5 p.m., so come early for a full day of kite flying.

Kite Competition:

Easter is here and it’s time to get all kites ready to soar the sky at the 5th Annual Antigua & Barbuda International Kite Festival. On Monday April 5, enjoy the scenic view and picnic atmosphere with an opportunity to attempt flying stunt kites at the Devil’s Bridge Fun Fly (9am to 5 pm). Bring your home-made, store bought kite, your whole family and come. Kites will also be available on site for sale. Experience the joy of kite making and kite flying this Easter.
